Really good, go to spot for mariscos...
Today I had a Chalupa de Abalone, Campechana, and a quesadilla de camaron ... everything was dee-f*cken-licious!.. they have a variety of ceviches to choose from also... my Girl had the marinero..
Good people, good service, great food.
Very affordable, btw...
this place has never disappointed me. -

If you are looking for authentic Mexican seafood in LA County, Mariscos Rosarito should be on your list. Located in a small and overlooked strip mall in Wilmington, this fresh sourced eatery is known for their different styles of Ceviche. Made daily and kept on ice, the traditional recipes have ingredients and flavors not found at other establishments.
Part of the allure of this restaurant is the location, the immediate surrounding area keeps many people away, but those that venture out during daylight hours are rewarded with some of the best Mariscos around. From what I've seen there seems to be a rotating selection of the house made Ceviche depending on what's in season. There is also plenty of open seating which makes this place a good choice for larger parties.
The seafood burrito, Ceviche Fresca, and fish tacos are consistently good. I have co-workers who eat here for lunch sometimes 3 times a week for years, many of whom do not want me reviewing this place, because they see their "hidden gem" getting more and more popular as of late. -

We were looking for some seafood last night and decided to give this place a try. It was delicious and we are glad we picked it. I had the Marineros burrito that was stuffed with shrimp, squid, octopus, etc. Everything was cooked perfectly and the cilantro, tomato, and avocado inside helped make this item a great one. We also tried the shrimp tostadas that were just as good. They come loaded with shrimp and not like some places that seem to count how many they give you. Saw that almost everyone ordered one of their cocktails so I'll probably order that next time I came back.
The inside is kept clean and the AC keeps it cool. The tables all have what looks like fresh flowers (plastic really) that help give the place a really nice and friendly atmosphere -

This place offers different types of ceviche which is cool and had me excited! Grab three different types of tostadas and few tacos. I thought all three were just eh! No real citrus taste in shrimp ceviche. Tacos had crunchy shell. Not for me. Thanks.

Don't be fooled by the flowery reviews here. The seafood is not good or fresh. Fried fish had the taste and texture of a burnt tire. Ceviche tasted too fishy which gives it away that it's definitely NOT fresh. Gross. Fish tacos had a stingy aftertaste. The one star is for the measly 2 slices of avocado.
